This chic styled Hawai’i elopement in the woods was the tropical flower fairytale of our dreams. The brides shared each other’s company as they took turns on a rope swing in the woods (also wrapped with flowers, duh). They sipped on bespoke pink grapefruit cocktails, which were shared alongside their gorgeous mini cake and tropical fruit platter. No formal dinner here, just the bride’s favorite snacks and lots of vanilla frosting. The best part about having a micro-wedding is that you don’t have to compromise on your wedding dreams because of a smaller budget. Since Sarah and Stevie opted to elope without any guests, they could spend more of their budget on creating their dream wedding vision. Two bespoke wedding dresses? Check! An adorable custom wedding cake? Check! A ton of flowers? Absolutely! Micro-weddings are an amazing way to bring your wedding dreams to life and let your style really shine. Plus, they weren’t bound to any weird traditions, family expectations, or strict venue timelines. It was the perfect Hawai’i elopement, their rules, their way. After all the frosting was eaten the evening ended with a serenade on the ukulele, a first dance under the jungle vines, and a “congratulations” that was yelled out the car window of a passerby, making us all breakdown in laughter.
