Miranda and Steve's opted for the Big Island for it's rugged beaty. They knew Volcanoes was the perfect place to get married because they love exploring National Parks. But Big Island also has tons of awesome BnB options. They found the perfect cottage just outside the park to get ready and share a first look moment. Even though it was just the two of them, their day had so many heartwarming moments, adorable details (including custom cufflinks of their adorable pup!), and the genuine connection that made their day truly unforgettable.
Exploring the Wonders of Volcanoes National Park
After a charming first look in the rain we left for an awe-inspiring journey through Volcanoes National Park. Even though the day was rainy and cold or Hawai'i standards, the pair didn't let it dampen their spirits. Together we explored Nāhuku lava tube, hiked through forest trails, and stood over steam vents before driving down to the coast for a sunset ceremony.
The skies finally cleared just as the sunset so Miranda could surprise Steve with her second wedding dress. After a few sweet moments along they exchange vows at a private cliffside spot, bathed in the golden hues of a mesmerizing sunset. Following their vows they trekked to Hōlei Sea Arch creating some epic photos at twilight with headlamps.
